Earlier this week on Saturday a stabbing occurred in the San Gabriel Valley, which took the life of a young boy, who was not identified until earlier today. Authorities identified the victim as a 16-year-old boy from the city of Norwalk. The boy's name was released as Micah Maurice Hatten and he died at the St. Francis Medical Center shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday morning. The Los Angeles County coroner and sheriff's officials confirmed that the boy stabbed from the wounds he suffered from the stabbing. He was stabbed at about 3:30 p.m. on wednesday afternoon and later died at the hospital from being fatally wounded. The stabbing occurred new Leffingwell Road and Gard Avenue. Police describe the incident as one or more persons arrived at the scene of the crime in a vehicle before the deadly confrontation occurred. There were no suspect descriptions and no description of the vehicle that the suspects were driving when they fled the scene. The wounded teen held on to his life at the hospital and was revived by doctors multiple times after vital signs at the hospital. He ultimately died from his injury early in the following morning according to officials. They are still looking for the suspect or suspects responsible for the death of the young Norwalk boy. Police are asking for the public's help in finding these suspects.
