A former Pastor for a Norwalk Church was sentenced on Thursday after pleading no contest to a felony charge of Sexual Penetration with a foreign object. The man, Jorge Castro, allegedly sexually assaulted a female congregant while praying for her at a counseling session. The former pastor saw the women in April 2010, when she came to him for some spiritual counseling at Las Buenas Nuevas Church. Victim in stabbing identified as Norwalk boy
Earlier this week on Saturday a stabbing occurred in the San Gabriel Valley, which took the life of a young boy, who was not identified until earlier today. Authorities identified the victim as a 16-year-old boy from the city of Norwalk. The boy's name was released as Micah Maurice Hatten and he died at the St. Francis Medical Center shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
