Victim Identified in Norwalk Gang Shooting
Earlier this week on Wednesday, the coroner’s office released the name of the man that fell victim to a gang-related shooting. The shooting occurred in a neighborhood located in the city of Norwalk and police believe the shooting happened after a dispute between rival gangs. The victim now identified as Bryan Erives was pronounced dead at St. Francis Medical Center at 9 pm on Saturday evening. Detectives still do not know the person responsible for the shooting and are still looking for any leads that may point to the direction of the shooter. According to detectives at the scene of the crime say that Erives was sitting in a parked car behind a market when the suspects approached him and opened fire on the victim. Witnesses of the crime saw three or four men fleeing the scene in a brown Jeep, but detectives have not located the vehicle in question.
