Shooting in Norwalk leaves one man dead

A Norwalk man died from a shooting in a Norwalk residential neighborhood early Saturday morning according to authorities. Police released few details were initially available regarding the deadly shooting, which took place just before two in the morning. Detectives have learned that officers of the Norwalk police station responded to a “shots fired” call.


When the officers arrived at the scene they saw two male Hispanic adults were found lying in the street suffering from gunshot wounds to their chest. Paramedics took both of the men to the hospital to have their wounds attended to. Unfortunately one of the men died in the hospital, but the other man is expected to survive his injuries. Police have no information on the suspects who are responsible for the shootings. Police are asking the public for more information about the incident.
